So, I'm a little behind in my blogging! This was over a month ago now - can't believe how fast the "summer" is going. Mom and Dad were here for a visit and Dad joined us at Joel's picnic. It was a fun afternoon of fishing for suckers, face painting, making hats, bouncing in castles and eating ice cream. We are glad the weather cooperated although, I must say that it's been okay when we've really needed it to be - this picnic, the church picnic, Canada Day, our 2 zoo trips.... It just refuses to get hot. I think we've only had one or two pool days and one trip to the water park. Fingers crossed for a beautiful August!
