Brad, Carolyne, Joel, Nathan, Micah and Cooper. That's our family! One dad, one mom, THREE sons and one kitty. We love God and try to live lives that are pleasing to Him. We will use this blog to keep you updated on the family that God has blessed us with, to share our struggles, our joys, our laughter and tears and to share how God is working in us and through us.

Fall in PG
Joel, Nathan and I just spent 2 weeks up in P.G. Brad joined us for Thanksgiving and for the next weekend but had to leave for work during the week. We had a great time and Nathan was happy to finally meet everyone and to see Grandma and Grandpa again! We were all happy to meet Mitchell and hope that Nathan and he will be best buddies just like Josh and Ethan! We spent lots of time outside. Joel had a ride on Uncle Mike's quad (I was not there to witness that or it might not have happened), Granpa kept a pile of leaves under some plastic in the yard so there would be some nice dry ones for the kids to play in (Dad always has great and thoughtful ideas!), Joel helped Grandpa dig out potatoes and beets and we went for some nice fall walks. The weather was a little cool but the sun was out and that made all the difference. We love the sun!! Mom and Dad treated us to some lovely dinners - Thanksgiving, Fondue, red cabbage :) and Jim and Monica treated us all to Jim's famous chicken wings!! I always eat too many..... We were also treated to dinner at Frances and Chris' house and at Mike and Julie's. Thank you all for your wonderful hospitality. We love you and miss you so much. Two weeks sure can go quickly.

Glad your back. I've missed you. Sounds like you had a great time.
Joely sure looks like he had a good time!
We miss you guys too. It was so nice having you up here. Say HI to Joel and tell Nathan to not grow TOO much before we can see him again. Hope everything is going well for you all. We got snow at our house yesterday!
Wow, it's almost a week since you left, Christmas will be here in no time! Mitchell is grabbing at toys, soothers, blankets, whatever he can get his hands on, funny how they change overnight! Miss you guys, look forward to updates on how you're all doing!
