Last night we went to the Celebration of Light with Jen and Aaron. It was so nice! We got to watch the fireworks, away from the hundreds of thousands of people, from the top of a 26 floor building. It was quite the show and we didn't end up with sore necks from looking up for half an hour! Joel really enjoyed it too. This was his second fireworks show and they really seem to captivate him.
We had a really busy day yesterday. All morning we were at Karen's house doing a garage sale, which got rid of so much stuff! And then by 4:30 we were out the door to get downtown with Jen and Aaron. We also met up with Rick and Heidi and the kids for dinner. We had some time to kill before the show. It was a nice day all in all and the rain held off until after we were all asleep. Now we have to figure out what to do today....

Fireworks! Fun! Both my kids are in bed by 9 so we would never be able to take them. Once we tried to keep Isabelle up late for something and she had a serious meltdown. Lukcy you that Joel is so easy going. He is getting so big. It makes me sad that we don't see each other more often. I am seriously thinking we need to vacation there next summer.
